Mineral grain with corner shape belonging to the group of garnets, orthosylicates including the almandino variety
Garnet is a natural, non-metallic, light brown or reddish abrasive. The garnet has many applications due to its weight and resistance, it is usually used in cleaning metallic, concrete and other mineral surfaces. It is also used for the removal of scale and decalcification, or for large structures such as boilers and more. It is very common for Speedblast to be used in the waterjet cutting system as an abrasive, obtaining higher cutting efficiency at lower costs. Among its components we have almandite and ilmenite and it is free of silica and iron, which makes it very safe for operators, it is kind to the environment and it complies with the required health and hygiene standards.
